Carrie A. Mihordin, D.O., F.A.C.R.

Dr. Mihordin received her medical education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed Internal Medicine residency, an additional year as chief medical resident, and fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Mihordin is currently Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She holds memberships in the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Midwest Rheumatology Association, and the Kansas Medical Society. Dawn Petty, MS, ANP-BC

Dawn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Wichita State University in 1995. She worked primarily as an ICU nurse for about 15 years in Wichita, Kansas and the Kansas City area, specializing in cardiovascular, pulmonary, and post-surgical care. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Kansas in 2011. As an Adult Nurse Practitioner she has specialized in the care of Pulmonary and Rheumatology patients. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American College of Rheumatology.

Kathryn E. Welch, M.D., F.A.C.R.

Dr. Welch received her medical education and completed her post-graduate education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Welch is a Diplomate Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Rheumatology. Dr. Welch has served as the Director of the Rheumatology Training Program. Dr. Welch holds membership in the American College of Physicians, American College of Rheumatology and the Midwest Rheumatology Association.

Sarah D. Vodopest, MD

Sarah D. Vodopest, MD is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and rheumatic disorders. She received her medical education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Iowa-Des Moines, and then completed her Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Vodopest is currently Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.

Matthew Svoboda, MPAS, PA-C

is a physician assistant specializing in the treatment of arthritis and rheumatic diseases. He received his masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the Univierty of Nebraska Medical Center. He received his bachelor’s degree in P.A. studies at Union College in Lincoln, NE. Matt holds membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
